Technology is important not only for industry and the economy,
This will bring about significant changes in our daily lives.
Therefore, technology must be used correctly.
To achieve that, you need to study a wide range of liberal arts.
ABEJA values the spirit of "technopreneurship."
A commitment to achieving non-linear innovation through technology and making a significant impact on society.
A stance of continuously questioning one's actions through the liberal arts.
These are interconnected, and a persistent questioning attitude will generate the next innovation.
Innovation generates new questions.
ABEJA will carry out this series of activities within the context of economic activities.
Leading us toward the world to come,
We intend to fulfill our role as a company.

What is technopreneurship?
Technopreneurship is a new type of entrepreneurial spirit that uses technology to bring innovation to business. According to the Oxford Dictionary, "technopreneur" is a portmanteau of "technology" and "entrepreneur," and it began to be used in the 1990s. Since around 2010, it has also come to be used in business. The word also implicitly carries the meanings of "working with passion" and "not being afraid of failure," which are necessary for aiming for innovation.
Liberal arts are being re-evaluated.
In 2010, just as the term "technopreneur" was beginning to gain traction, Steve Jobs, then CEO of Apple, stated in his keynote address announcing the iPad that he was challenging innovation at the "intersection of technology and liberal arts." The following year, he also said, "Without liberal arts, not just technology, we are not excited." These statements by Jobs led to the re-evaluation of liberal arts today. Liberal arts can be defined as "the cultivation of knowledge for a free spirit," and in modern terms, it can be translated as "literacy and skills that transcend boundaries and are not homogenized."
The history of technology and liberal arts
The fact that technological innovation cannot be realized without liberal arts is nothing new. Gutenberg invented movable type printing in the 15th century, but it was much later that the technology was actually widely used. It is said that the Encyclopédie, written by Diderot and others in the 18th century, greatly contributed to the popularization of printing technology. This book described the method of printing. Without the practice of liberal arts, which disseminates the use of technology, movable type printing may have remained merely a secret art.
ABEJA's view on liberal arts
We have been applying new technologies to our business. Having worked closely with technology for so long, we have come to realize that what is truly important is not "what technology to use," but "why and how to use it." We must continue to ask ourselves this question every day. We believe that this practice is what liberal arts are all about.
ABEJA's Technopreneurship
We have redefined technopreneurship by adding the meaning of liberal arts to its original concepts of technology and entrepreneurship. Technology and liberal arts are the two wheels of innovation, forming a circle, and entrepreneurship is the driving force that makes it happen. In other words, technopreneurship is our spirit of action.
ABEJA's Corporate Philosophy and Vision
Technopreneurship is also expressed in our corporate philosophy, "Implementing a prosperous world." Liberal arts are what judge the "prosperity" of the "world," and technology is what "implements" it. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, is expressed in our vision, "Changing the world through innovation." "Prosperity" is subjective and there is no single correct answer. Therefore, we constantly ask ourselves "What is prosperity?" through liberal arts, and then use technology to aim for innovation.
